We are pleased to announce Chip R. Bell as our general session keynote speaker for Wednesday, May 23, 2007.

 

Chip R. Bell has a consulting practice that focuses on helping organizations build a culture that supports long-term customer loyalty. Prior to starting a consulting firm in the late 1970’s, he was Vice President and Director of Management and Organization Development for NCNB, now Bank of America. Dr. Bell holds graduate degrees in organizational psychology and human resource development from Vanderbilt University and George Washington University.

 

Chip is the author or co-author of sixteen books and has written over 300 articles that have appeared in professional journals such as Management Review, Customer Service Management, Customer Relationship Management, Supervisory Management, and many others. His work has been featured on CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg TV, NPR, Voice of America, and Reuters and in the Wall Street Journal, Fortune, USA Today, Washington Post, and Business Week.

 

Many major organizations have sought his expertise. He has served as consultant and/or trainer for IBM, Microsoft, GE, Motorola, Marriott, Nortel Networks, MBNA, Merrill Lynch, Ritz Carlton, Duke Energy, 3M, USAA, Chevron, Lockheed-Martin, Harley Davidson, Cadillac, Verizon, Lucent Technologies, and Victoria’s Secret.

 

His keynote address is certain to be thought-provoking and inspiring. His insights into the unique customer service problems facing e-commerce companies and ways to promote customer loyalty through cyberspace will be relevant to all of us.
